Inherit The Whip
by Diana Philbrick
Max Templeton thinks he's won the lottery when his uncle dies and leaves him his business, his Eastside townhouse, and...his young mistress. But there are a few catches - the "business" is actually a high-end escort service and the girl, Lane, is on an insane quest to find "true submission."
Despite this Max falls for her and, strangely enough, she is also taken with him...not enough to forget her obsession, but enough to leave a deep mark. After some behind-the-scenes intrigue, she leaves him, manoeuvring herself in the hands of Darius, a more experienced master. What she doesn't realize is that he is also a shadowy and sadistic billionaire who is conducting lucrative but highly illegal drug testing on his private Pacific island.
Lane embraces her new more-submissive life with Darius, but rejects the evil she finds around him. Her rejection leads to an act of violence that cannot be forgiven and Darius is forced to sell her into the Asian black market. Eventually, she ends up as the slave of an even more twisted demigod, the Chinese warlord Cho.
Max meanwhile has immersed himself in learning the BDSM escort business he inherited, convinced that this will help him win Lane back. He still has no real stomach for the extreme domination she craves, but somehow believes that he can manage her perceptions. His ideas change radically when he meets Margo, a gypsy beauty who is also trying to manipulate perceptions.
It turns out that they have more to handle than they bargained for.
I enjoy submission. It opens the door to another world--one filled with extremes of sexual feeling that just don't exist anywhere else.
NYC is home, but I travel often for work writing stories about BDSM along the way.

I have become a great fan of the thrillers by this author! Great! 5 out of 5
An interesting plot line to go with the more exploitive nature of the story...and even though you can guess how it will end its worth the read 5 out of 5 (elliott)
A believable, thoughtful, consensual and very erotic journey for two very different people; well developed and believable story with a great ending 5 out of 5 (Elliott)
