by August Richers
In a seemingly ordinary neighborhood a boy dies horribly, victim of an ancient evil. A young man, Jeffery, discovers the source of that evil - his neighbor, the old woman next door. By day she sits alone in her cellar staring at empty walls with blind eyes but there is something about her, something malevolent. Only he senses the danger, he alone must stop it.

August Richers was born in Iowa then moved, at the tender age of eighteen, to San Diego, California. He's since lived in Ohio, North Carolina, and other places too numerous to mention.
He has been an electronics engineer, a massage therapist, a waiter, among other things, and even a worthless bum (some say he still is). All of these "professions" inform his writing and broaden his characters. At least that's what he hopes.
