The Rise And Fall Of Lady Rosetta
Lady Melrose and her dissolute estranged husband Sir Peregrine Roberts are engaged in a struggle for power and ascendancy. Rosetta (Lady Melrose) engages the services of a cruel and perverted governess named Alice Myers who begins to exert a corrupting influence over family members and their servants- of both sexes.
Alice is adept in the use of corporal punishment and humiliation to establish her authority.
She is soon involved in sexual intrigue and subterfuge involving cross dressing and power exchange and Rosetta herself becomes a participant, willingly at first.
The Rise and Fall of Lady Rosetta follows the tradition of Victorian erotica and is carefully researched for accurate period detail. Classics of the Victorian age include The Pearl by William Lazenby, The Romance of Lust and The Nunnery Tales - their authors are anonymous. All reflect the Victoriansí fascination with flagellation and discipline.
