Scrooge was very much dismayed to hear the specter going on at this rate, and began to shake nervously exceedingly. Scrooge eyed the window and saw a thick heavy fog lapping up against its glass. Hues of blue, yellow, green, and purple swirled within it. The Ghost motioned for Scrooge to go to the window. As scrooge peered out down on the street in the depths of the fog wandered a solitary zombie about the street.
Scrooge looked back at the Ghost as it tied the handkerchief back about his jaw and smile. Scrooge in his dressing-gown, slippers, and nightcap darted across the room retrieving the blade of his cane sword from the door, double unlocked it and flew down the stairs, out the door, through the yard, and into the street.
Scrooge’s eye grew wide as he came in front of the zombie and caught the decaying remains of the face, but could still tell who the corpse once was.
The Ghost phased out through the side wall of the house and drifted down the street to Scrooge’s side.
“This is the form of mine that took seven years to make its way here. Clawing, scratching and digging its way up and out, through wood and earth.”
“But I killed your brain, by my own hand to prevent this from passing!” cried out Scrooge.
“You did not take the necessary care apparently,” replied the Ghost.
