About Richard W Black: Richard W Black is a freelance writer born and raised in Indiana. He optioned a feature film script through InkTip and has second screenplay under contract that is currently being shopped for funding. He has written polished first draft screenplays for production companies from Luxembourg to Singapore to Australia. He wrote the TV show bible and 6 episodes of S.L.I.P. for RADAR in Luxembourg now in pre-production by the RTL TV network of Luxembourg. RADAR also commissioned him to write the first drafts of the feature film scripts Sub and Seeds that are currently in pre-production by English production companies. He wrote the feature length screenplay Darkness of Night for an Indian production company in Dubai. He worked on Zero Hero, a children’s animated cartoon series by CreatvToon Studios and Tapir Reka Productions in Malaysia with 20 credited episodes. His book, The Hive, was released by Double Dragon Publishing. His first novel A Cross In Time was published by ASJ Publishing along with the political futuristic novel Heresy’s Child, which also won an honorable mention in the Deep River Book Publisher’s Contest. The short story Mrs. Whitfield Lives Forever was published by the First Line as part of their December, 2015 issue and Perfect Beauty was released by Silver Pen in their Fall 2015 Silver Blade Magazine. Also, Space Partners was part of an anthology collection called Night Lights published by Geminid Press and Sapphire Moon was included in the 4th volume of Creepy Campfire Quarterly. He wrote, drew the illustrations and self-published the children’s picture book I See 4. He also self-published the novella Sandra Storm, PI Seduction of the Unfaithful Detective and Enemies, a Vietnam War novel based on a true story. Richard is a member of the Tennessee Screenwriting Association and currently resides with his wife of 43 years in the greater Nashville, Tennessee area.
