 | STORY DESCRIPTION A collaboration between Norman Wilson and Gavriel Navarro. A series of poems in both English and Spanish.
There is nothing wrong in accepting who we truly are and in living our real existence. Sometimes we do not realize that we tend to do otherwise knowing we do not wear our true face with pride.
Gavriel Navarro is a Spanish-born poet, musician and artist, who grew up in Venezuela and England. After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design, he spent eleven years in the Amazon working as a hunter, an eco-tourist guide and apprentice of shamanic wisdom. Navarro now makes is home in Japan where he applies the lessons of his peripatetic life through film-making and transcendent poetry.
Norman Wilson spent every summer for fourteen years with a First Nation family on the Baskatong in Quebec, Canada. It was there he met his first Shaman. That interest has carried through in his graduate studies in world mythology, religion and psychology. | Keywords related to this title - click on a keyword to find more, related stories shaman fiction poetry fiction spiritual journey billingual novel self-acceptance shamanic journey transcendent poetry first nations fiction amazonian fiction spiritual awakening Author information: Gavriel Navarro is a Spanish-born poet, musician and artist, who grew up in Venezuela and England.
